SHELLEY BUFFITT interview with TV Producer Cal Young (Up and Coming) 1999 (c) CAL: What inspires you to write and perform? SHELLEY: "It's all about the creation....that single event that motivates a person to bring their ideas to life..be it a song, a poem, a sculpture.... it's a gift..not just theirs but one to share with everyone....that is an artist.....that's what I am. Its taken me a long time to admit that....and curiously, once I did, I was more humbled"
