A vocalist, arranger, and recording artist, Anna has been arousing the passions of music lovers worldwide with a dynamic style and powerful presence all her own. She spent her childhood growing up on the streets of Compton, in South Central Los Angeles. In addition to being raised by Don Neal of the Mighty Creators (doo-woop singing group of the 1960s) an uncle who was a member of the famous Vibrations (Hang on Sloopy) and mother who was a songbird in her own right, Anna was born with music in her veins. . After attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Anna pursued a career in law and returned to her native Los Angeles where she worked as a Legal Analyst for a law firm for several years. After relocating to St. Helena Island, SC she decided to 'take herself off the shelf' and pursue her passion in music. Anna currently resides in the beautiful South with her childhood friends. She sings at her local church, and recently taught Chorus at Hilton Head Middle School where she received recognition for her outstanding work with children. Her repertoire ranges from Rhythm & Blues to Rock and Roll, from oldies to contemporary, including Gospel with a passion that forces you to move! After a relatively short stint in San Diego, Anna got the chance to open for the famous Stylistics in 1996. She was dubbed, San Diego’s Best Female Vocalist, Rhythm & Blues, and appeared on the first airing of the cable-television show, “Singsations,” in 1996.
