Noisewreck is the harder, edgier side of the Noctambulist vs. Noisewreck duality. While Noctambulist is about eclectic, melodic-ambient soundscapes, Noisewreck is about an assult on auditory senses, exploring harshness, darkness and cacophony.
THE CONFLICT, the darkness and turmoil. The beauty of agony and celebration of life. The existence of basic human decency and the paradox of injustice. And the realization that heaven and hell are nothing more than what you make of your life on Earth. These are NOCTAMBULIST and NOISEWRECK: the two sides of the same coin, the yin and yang of nothing more than a reflection.
My influences are literally all over the place, as I like to listen to many different genres, so while they influence me, it's is more in an indirect way, for example it maybe something like a chord progression that I heard in a Flaw song which then caught myself using in an elektro tune which sounded nothing like Flaw. I love listening to and playing the music of J. S. Bach and Chopin. As for bands, my favorites are Winterkalte, Converter, Wumpscut, Slayer, System of a Down, Ministry, Pendulum, Technical Itch, many of the Warp artists such as Squarepusher, and many many more.
