Oxford University's ugly blocks have vandalised the views and environment of Port Meadow. Together, we the people of Oxford, can hold the City Council and University of Oxford to account and get these buildings lowered! Save Port Meadow!

That's Lucy's old iron foundry by the canal in the photograph isn't it? I expect it's a sentimental nod to the old Jericho towpath where Nige and Trev would muddy up their wooden clogs on their way into Oxford city centre where local legend has it, they would busk accompanied by a lurcher pup. This particular N&T recording is a powerful in-yer-face, offering that blows the rest of the competition neatly into a waste paper bin. Clackie's blistering overdriven guitars sound like Black'n'Decker power tools left switched on inside an empty fridge, Fish's vocals snarl and growl and spit with the reckless precision of a spurned baby werewolf chained to the Cutteslowe Wall, Dale Marshall's drums relentlessly pound, thud and explode like...er... pounding, thudding, exploding drums...and, the mysterious Ania Rybacka's beautifully transparent backing vocals darkly drift in and out of the composition like zombie rain falling on a discarded 'Frank Rabbit and the Bobtails' t shirt that's been left
Eerie! Love the dark, mysterious atmosphere. I've got some wood glue if you need it! ;) Five stars, no question...
just thought i'd drop by and sea if you had any new tunes(been on a listening spree here this week : )) )...love this! i don't think i've heard this one, yet! but i am so glad that i stopped by! this is AMAZING! great backer and i loveee the female vocals...reminds me a little of bjork! what a dramatic sound! great job! :D
Cool and refreshing piece of music. Love the way the drums and guitar are talking with each other. Nice!!! Terrific improv going on with much flare. Enjoyed the journey.
Such a beautiful, thought provoking piece...magical.
