Hi,
My name is Nigel Cuff and I have been playing guitar since 1980 when I was 16. For the past 5 years I have been honing my songwriting and recording skills and have recorded an album ans set up my own recording and songwriting business. My songs cover all areas of rock music from heavy to commercial to acoustic guitar.
I started playing guitar on my 16th birthday in 1980 and played in various heavy rock bands eventually switching to bass (because nobody else wanted to play it). I gave playing in bands up in the mid-eighties because it became a chore and completely unproductive. I then only dabbled in music for the next few years and didn't play much guitar. This changed almost 4 years ago when I decided to finally have a serious crack at songwriting which eventually led (thanks to the acquisition of a PC) to recording. And that's where I am today.
I don't play live. I write and record which is what I always wanted to do.
My influences include Rush, Yes, Magnum, The Beatles, Def Leppard, Neal Morse (Spock's Beard) and Neil Finn (Crowded House).
