In the late '90s zach reached moderate success with the band Passion Seeds, voted "Best Pop Band by The New Times. As the vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for the group, he garnered accolades from both critics and a worldwide fan base, opening for groups such as Smash Mouth and Vitamin C. The band's success is ever-present. In 2001 zach’s song "Beautiful People" from the album release was voted number one for 27 straight weeks by the viewers/listeners of the Swedish website, popwire.com.
