Jeff Beck Tribute!!! Listen to this one please!
is a jazz trio with a single-minded focus on free-flowing spontaneous creativity. While they perform selections from the jazz standard and popular contemporary repertoire in addition to their improvisational "conversations", these sometimes familiar, sometimes alien, but always intriguing works are their hallmark. Filled with tonal variations and colors, they delight with the intensity and surprise with the intricate textures that can appear preplanned while never predictable. They entertain with recognizable songs from the standards but provide a glimpse into their ability to make it happen in real-time with several of their own pieces, not previously performed anywhere live. They bring to mind multi-media happenings of days gone by. They present a serious challenge to the listener in that their works are borne on the wings of inspiration. Hang on fast and fly with them to uncharted territory!

Phoomin is a versatile player able to perform and compose in many styles including Rock, Jazz, Brazilian Jazz, New Age. Among his influences he cites The Beatles, Elton John, Michael Schenker, Joe Satriani, Baden Powell, etc... RON ANDERSON: Drums-Percussion and Vocal-Percussion Ron brings a 30-year package of experiences. The credit list includes Ramsey Lewis, Lou Rawls, The Captain & Tennille, and in the Summer of 2000, a tour of Australia with SINEThe Band and The Metropolis Youth Symphony-led by accomplished Classical Performer, Conductor, Producer and Arranger, Robert Ian-Winstin-for the Olympic Torch Relay. Ron’s mentors include Billy Cobham, Steve Gadd, Lenny White, and Tony Williams, to name a choice few. Like these music legends, there have been many occasions where Ron would “sit-in” with a band, and it would sound as if they’ve been rehearsing for years. Jazz/Rock-Fusion is Ron’s first love, but good music comes in many forms, and he doesn’t shy away from any of them. ROBERT DODSON: Bass/Guitar/Songwriter Robert has played guitar in several local bands in the Chicago area, including a stint with the traveling band backing soul legend Otis Clay. As time progressed, his perspectives continued to expand, encompassing a keen interest in all genres and forms of music from classical to country, bluegrass to bebop and everything in between. A natural extension of his guitar playing was the addition of bass guitar. As a bassist, Robert, along with Ron, in the Summer of 2000, toured Australia with SINEThe Band and The Metropolis Youth Symphony for the Olympic Torch Relay. He cites as influences many of his favorite artists including Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Stanley Clarke, Chick Corea, Marcus Miller, Ron Carter, Carlos Santana and Jaco Pastorius to name a few. IN Memoriam. We lost Scot last year. We keep his bio info here in memory of his wonderful personality and fine musicianship. May you rest easy, Scot. SCOT WULBERT: Composer/Piano/Keyboards Keyboardist, Scot Wulbert, infuses his diverse piano styling, arrangements, and compositions in a wonderfully unique & adroit manner that is all his own. Hailing from a long line of musicians, Scot was introduced to music at an early age when he began studying piano at age six with the renown Zelda Abrams, and continued through his applied piano studies at Bradley University. In addition to having played his funky and enthralling style throughout the U.S., Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia, Scot occasionally plays at various Chicago area venues. Scot cites as his influences a varied range of musicians from Michel Petrucciani to Pinetop Perkins.
