Hello World!, I say WELCOME. I'm a 55 years old classic rock fan and musician. For the most part I only do covers of classic rock and folk songs but am known from slipping in an occasional ballad or instrumental here and there too.
Can't establish one per se. I started playing the guitar at 8 years old after I asked my Dad for a quick lesson, never stopped since. I used to record an apparently endless sequence of tape on a borrowed electric guitar and then a Yamaha midi capable keyboard - soon after (mid teens) I hooked the keys to a Radio Shack Color Computer and begun experimenting with midi on a more dedicated way... remains so to today!
Love playing live and there's nothing beyond in the music world as gratifying and exciting. Special moments... audience's hands up in the air, people dancing themselves crazy in front of the stage. It is a little known fact but everyone's heart just follows the rhythm that's set by the DRUMMER (insert evil laughter here).
Bobby Chouinard, Cozy Powell and Gil Moore in that order... awesome drumming.
With very high prominence: Yamaha. Then there are the others like Pearl, Tamma, Ludwig, Yamaha, Ibanez... too many brands to remember. Always remember though that the brand DOES NOT make a musician... if you're a dedicated one you can make a plain rubberband sing!
All this on this site is done just for the love of music, I am not making any money from this hobby nor I would ever allow that to be. Keep that in mind :-)
