A short piece composed originally for guitar. This is from my own score and converted from midi data to audio - sound is not too bad, a little chatter in the background. I may do a live guitar recording later if anyone likes this one.
I enjoy creating music in a variety of genres such as pop, rock, jazz, classical style, big band and even some orchestral music.
My recording set-up is fairly simple: a Mackie Spike USB soundcard with Traktion recording software. I use Sibelius software for score writing.
My main instrument is guitar: I mainly use a Yamaha SG1000 and a Yamaha APX 9 nylon strung.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I love playing live, although I get pretty nervous...but audience members say I look relaxed and in control!
Your musical influences
I appreciate all genres of music, but not all music.
What equipment do you use?
I work in midi a lot using Sibelius and other software, its not ideal but at least I get a finished score to accompany my music.
Smooth and cool jazz guitar that resonates with everyone...Real nice....
Beautiful work Steve!
The music creates the setting real well mysterious opening to that nice little lilt in there. Very good.
Nicely played captures the theme perfectly.
Hi Steve, Thanks for the post on my site and for adding me to your radio station. I am a church music director and I'm currently really busy working out all the music for Holy Week and Easter so I can't take the time to listen to all your music right now. However, I have added you to my artist list and will check it out later. Take Care! Talk to you later!
