Kitsap Konnection from Kitsap County in Washington performs a mix of old time fiddle tunes, Scandinavian polkas, and Bluegrass-Western Cowboy standards.
Their music pieces are lively, toe tapping tunes featuring twin fiddles played by Marge Tonge and Tina Raineri; long neck banjo played by Bob Olson; stand-up bass played by Tom Tonge, and acoustic guitar and vocals by Jeff Anderson.
Kitsap Konnection was formed in 1996 by Bob Olson and musicians from the Scandinavian band; Clover Blossom.
They have played many engagements including Admiral Theater for Habitat for Humanities fundraisers.
Among many engagements they have participated in the monthly concert series presented by Collective Visions Gallery of Bremerton.
Kitsap Konnection won the Kitsap Community Music Award as Best Fold band for years: 2000 and 2001.
