I was born into a musical family with both parents playing in a local dance band. My father played drums and trumpet, never together though, and my mother, played Guitar, Piano, Accordian, Harmonica and the list went on.
I have been writing songs for as long as I can remember and in my late teens after signing up for 10 years with the Australian Army I met up with mates Brad and Dick who inspired me to pursue my writing further.
I have many and varied musical influences with the Eagles and Neil Diamond at the top of my list. I write songs. Some folk think I do ok, while others are probably too kind to tell me what they really think, but no matter what I still love writing songs and producing demos. Who knows, perhaps one day, someone with a half decent voice will record another one of my songs.
It's an honour to have you give a listen and please let me know what you think?
Regards,
Alan.
