Kevin Plane -Guitar,vocals,songwriter/arranger.
Jordan Bork -Piano/synths,vocals,songwriter.
Jamie Henderson -Bass, songwriter.
John Eilers-Lloyd -Drums/percussion.
Kevin and Jamie used to play in Parotia. When that band broke up Jordan joined the group and we changed our name. After recording Bubbler we happily had our long friend john Eilers-Lloyd fill the position of drummer we so longly needed.
Parotia, before the name change, played many shows. The best show was the Sundown Festival held in Scotsville, NY. All three shows were rained out, but thanks to fans like Will O'Brien, a rain tent was buit to ensure the shows would go on. We just started jamming again in January '05. We hope to be playing our first gigs in late spring. At a theater near you.
Kevin is influenced by Jerry Garcia, Jimi Hendrix, Trey Anastasio as well as alot of 70s rock and reggae greats. As a master of his own domain he can emulate all kinds of music styles including metal, hiphop.
Jaime's pastimes are alot of funky bass licks and enjoys rush, tool, as well as a full palate of reggae music like Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, and Lee scratch Perry.
Jordan listens to NIN, hip hop, reggae, Phish, Mr. Bungle and MSI, although his influence is Trent Reznor, jack Black and the stylings of Guns n' Roses, he trys to stay away from infulencing himself in one direction and leaves himself open to learn any style. His main influence is Parotia and the stylings of Kevin Plane.
John loves Dream Theatre,Rush,The Police and all that rocks. The whole band is in agreement, if it's good music than we love it, despite the label it's given.
We record on a Roland digital 16 track, mix our music with Cool Edit Pro and create our remixes with Acid. Yes Acid.
We looking for opening gigs. Book us for your next venue. We have enough material to play a two set gig.
Our bass player is leaving the band in late summer to get his masters. So we are looking for a talented bassist to fill his spot.
We have fifty original songs and plan on playing most of them live. We also play many covers so not one of our gigs is going to be the same.
