I Count You

When I count my blessings
And all that we’ve been through
I could write a novel one day
That’s what I might do

When I count my blessings
Each night I lay in bed
I thank Jesus for His gift of love
For us His blood was shed

I’m thankful for the love of
Friends and family
Thankful for our heroes
Who fight for liberty
Thankful for this country
There’s no other I would choose
When I count my blessings
I count you.

When I count my blessings
I think back on these two years
We fought hard...side by side
We laughed and shed some tears

We scored record victories...yeah
Be proud of all we’ve done
Wouldn’t want to fight these battles, no
With just anyone...

I’m thankful for the love of
Friends and family
Thankful for our heroes
Who fight for liberty
Thankful for this country
There’s no other I would choose
When I count my blessings
I count you.

There is still so much to do
Our work has just begun
Stand strong against adversity
More battles to be won

I’m thankful for the love of
Friends and family
Thankful for our heroes
Who fight for liberty
Thankful for this country
There’s no other I would choose
When I count my blessings
I count you.
Yeah...when I count my blessings
I count you
Oh yeah, you know I do
I count you.
