One More Time

I was born in a small town, on a sleepy dead end street
By the crossroad of the railroad tracks, where the coolest people meet
Wasn't much to do in our home town when the evening sun went down
Had to make our entertainment some smoke and black label crown.

I'll never be rich I know that now gonna keep on trying and somehow
maybe one day I can rise above...
All the static I hear in my head, gonna keep on trying till I'm dead
Gotta punch that factory clock just one more time.... one more time

Married my high school sweetheart, honeymooned down by the sea.
Just a couple of kids and a pick up truck not a clue of what would be
Life kinda hits you hard right between the eyes
Mostly when you least expect it, it should come as no surprise

I'll never be rich I know that now gonna keep on trying and somehow
maybe one day I can rise above...
All the static I hear in my head, gonna keep on trying till I'm dead
Gotta punch that factory clock just one more time.... one more time

One more time.... whoa one more time

I'll never be rich I know that now gonna keep on trying and somehow
maybe one day I can rise above...
All the static I hear in my head, gonna keep on trying till I'm dead
Gotta punch that factory clock just one more time.... one more time
