He Was Born In A Stable Bare

He was born in a stable bare.
No room for Him anywhere.
In the inn, they laughed and they drank, without a care.
No one knew of the Savior Child.
Born that night of the virgin mild.
All alone in the manger were they, with creatures wild.
Angels call to the shepherds, while a bright, shining star leads the way,
To the place in a manger, where the Savior lay.
Shepherds, kings, and others come, bringing gifts for the Holy one.
Praise the Lord, they say as they kneel beside God's Son.
