Casting My Crown

Wearing the white of the Lamb,
I stand beside the sea.
A crown is in my hand,
though it wasn’t earned by me.
Among the saints I wait, with eager expectation,
For the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords,
Has come to rule the nations.

I am casting my crown, before the glassy sea.
For my crown belongs to you Lord,
it was never earned by me,
You bestowed it in love,
and sustained it with your grace.
I am casting my crown Lord
as I meet you face to face.

Hearing the sound of your name,
I bow before the throne
For you are worthy Lord,
all creation is your own.
You purchased with your blood,
the humble and the lowly.
And I praise you Lord, with all my heart
For you alone are Holy.

I am casting my crown, before the glassy sea.
For my crown belongs to you Lord,
it was never earned by me,
You bestowed it in love,
and sustained it with your grace.
I am casting my crown Lord
as I meet you face to face.

Great and wondrous are your deeds,
Our Lord God Almighty.
Just and true your ways,
O King of the ages.
Who will fail to fear You Lord,
or glorify Your Name?
For you alone are Holy,
And the nations bow before you,
To worship and adore you,
Because your righteousness has been revealed.

I am casting my crown, before the glassy sea.
For my crown belongs to you Lord,
it was never earned by me,
You bestowed it in love,
and sustained it with your grace.
I am casting my crown Lord
as I meet you face to face.
