Singer and songwriter, Lynn Geyer, presents uplifting music for use in Christian settings. Lynn develops youth programs, such as her nationally recognized “Journey to Forgiveness”, an examination of conscience which includes a full length 17 song CD.
Much of her ministry is devoted to the power of prayer in forgiveness and healing. Her easy alto lends itself to quiet services using traditional or contemporary music as well as charismatic prayer meetings.
Lynn has recorded three albums. “Music of the Light”, her first solo project, was released in January, 2001. The title track received a Unity Award from UCMVA as Praise and Worship Song of the Year 2001. She has performed in countless churches on the east coast, as well as in conferences throughout the US, Canada, Spain, Italy, Australia, Germany and Brazil.
Her latest project is “Christmas All Year Through”, a collection of Advent and Christmas songs. She’s the President of CAM, the Catholic Association of Music, founded by John Michael Talbot providing guidance for Catholic musicians in public ministry. Lynn also produces an annual concert in NY at Carnegie Hall, Merry Christmas New York City to celebrate the real reason for the season. She's looking ahead to producing Hallelujah, New York City for the same reason regarding the disprespect people have for Easter
Mostly conferences around the US and also in parts of Europe. The best moment was in Central Park, being one of 200 voices singing as Pope John Paul II celebrated mass for about 400,000 people who had come from everywhere.
I was raised on Motown and the oldies of my day were the earliest songs of rock and roll. Christmas music has long been a favorite genre for me and I've finally recorded a Christmas album.
