Truth be told, I’m kinda in a funk right now…
And I’m tryin’ my very best not to be defeated.
So I pick myself up with self-inflicted humor based on irony,
Sometimes I am so random.

This is how the thought popped in my head, it was dark in my place,
no motivation.
I need to move with the speed of light but now I ask myself…
What’s the speed of dark ? What’s the speed of dark ?

Is it faster than my tears ? Is it faster than my deepest fears ?
I know the light…I know the light has got to be near.
