===========

Did you know the world is teeming
With terrors and demons
Threatening you and me,
But only she can see them?
Shouldn't we be told
Why the prerogative to control them
Isn't on the shoulders
Of someone much older?

But she's on her own now,
Battling alone now.
Has she always known how
No one could ever understand
The burden that's loading her down?

Just because you don't feel
All she can feel
Doesn't mean that it's any less real.
And why you can't see
Everything she can see
Is because
You're not Juniper Lee!

It's her given mission
Without recognition
Handling all transgressions through
The Veil between that world and this one
Who can blame her
If in the balancing game
'Twixt the magical and mundane
She occasionally loses temper?

But she's on her own now,
Battling alone now.
Has she always known how
No one could ever understand
The burden that's loading her down?

Just because you don't feel
All she can feel
Doesn't mean that it's any less real.
And if you're wondering why you can't see
Everything she can see
It's because
You're not Juniper Lee!
