I'm Joe Johnson a local United Methodist Pastor. Before I felt God calling me into the ministry I thought I was going to be a rap artist. For 8 years I did nothing with music until my wife introduced me to a group called "The Gospel Gansters" in 1998. It was an eye opening experience. I was amazed to see people using rap for the glory of God. That day I picked up paper and pen and I haven't put it down yet.
I've been working with my daughter, Rebecca Johnson,
and a number of youth from the church Nison Wells, Princess Bolton, Achia Bolton, Raelon Bolton, Brettany Ervin. I also work with Lazarus Bolton, and Peaches McCain and Mitch Lohmen.
Yes, I love sharing music live. My favorite thing is to go to jail and share with my brothers and sisters. It always turns into something where they want to share their gifts as well. I love it.
When I started 22 years ago I was all about the rap flow, but now I love working on the hooks and my focus is the overall music. I want to produce a "SONG" instead of a rap.
Instrumentals by some of the best on Soundclick. And a great studio 416 Wabash.
If it's hot then give God the glory. If it's not then blame Mitch.
