Electric Sandbox, is once again, on the move after a long break from the scene, with a new album in pre-production now "I really missed the stage and performing", and "felt I had a new chapter to write on our musicial journey says John "JT" Thario Guitarist, songwriter, producer and the bands founding member, with a new line up, ," I'm once again very lucky to have a group of very talented musicians to work with" including vocalist / songwriter Carolyn Thorn, of "the Retro Rockets", Carolyn is often compared to the late Janis Joplin), "everyone brings their own unique style to the band" says JT, no rules, music wise, when a song grooves, does well live and we like playing it, we record it! sheduled for release on the upcoming album will be "Missing You", "Pack your Bags", "Wailin Woman" and more few surprises.
The ESB sound is filled with gritty in your face guitars, rooted in blues and crossed with a southern rock touch, it's pure american rock with a smooth groove and a sharpe edge.
With a revived buzz on the easier side of things pickup the bands single
Soft, Slow and Easy off "Cover Your Trax" it's a true classic ballad with
great lyrics, a haunting harmonica, smooth guitars, awesome harmony vocals and "remember back when you were that way"

Electric Sandbox is the brain child of Guitarist John "JT" Thario, and original drummer John Michael Galvan. Over the years, the band has opened for such artist as Lover Boy, Quite Riot, Pat Travers, Molly Hatchet, Mockingbird and and many others. The album "Cover "Your Trax" has recieved airplay on Q92.
