I am an electric & acoustic guitarist, being fairly eclectic; challenging the limits of slide guitar, mostly. I also play piano and some other instruments & try to keep electronics at a minimum. Having played in every type of genre over 25 years, now I like to work with different musicians collaborating in various ways, like through the vehicle of internet. It's a great way to get to know more about world music & different cultures. I am a professional teacher of art, graphic design & history. As well I am a professional visual artist.

Why this name?
It's simply my first name; catchy, I figured and easy to find me.(lol) I was born in Finland. I have lived in Canada most of my life.
I do love travelling, learning from other cultures.
Do you play live?
I sometimes do now for functions the odd pub. I used to do the whole orchestra to rock lounge scene but gave that up. I will do the sometime folk, blues and jazz engagement.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes, of course; in a postive way it helps one to meet & learn from others & about their cultures, thus new genres begin to develop.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If it was a solid deal.
Band History:
I have played in various other bands as the rhythm or lead guitarist, some piano; playing mostly here in Thunder Bay, Canada.
Your influences?
Too many; from Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Elmore James,Tampa Red,Django Reinhart to Eric Clapton and so on.
Favorite spot?
Thunder Bay,Canada;mmmmm actually, Nassau, Bahamas he,he.
Equipment used:
A Variax line6 electric, AriaII Pro, Beaver Creek acoustic, wah, echo peddle, Technics piano, Peavey/Fender amp, computer stuff,
Anything else...?
I just use the electronic stuff, like computer software for mostly percussion, bass, & unusual sounds. I'm fairly unorthodox in my musical recording.
