Betty Brant is a bedroom, some broken equipment, and some broken people, trapped in a loveless union of fuzz and lust and fear and romance.
Why this name?
Betty Brant is the loveliest secretary a newspaper chief could ever hope to have. That dreamy hair!
Do you play live?
The live performance is an awesome shambles. Being on a bill with a poet and a dancer was a highlight, what with it being the only gig played so far.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. What an absurd situation that would be.
Band History:
Badly recorded songs, badly rehearsed songs, badly played gig.
Your influences?
Sonic Youth, K Records, Pavement, short and messy tunes.
Favorite spot?
Greyfriar's graveyard in Edinburgh
Equipment used:
Squier telecaster with 2 strings, broken drumkit, £2.99 keyboard from Oxfam
