Ellis & Streit=Pont Mirabeau,+ various other artists who wander into one of our recording sessions.

The genre question is a nightmare.
We play EVERY GENRE!

Classical orchestral to Acoustic/Folk.
Rock to Bossa Nova.
Why this name?
Title of Poem by Guillame Apollinaire:
________________________________________________
"Beneath Pont Mirabeau flows the Seine,
And our loves to, must ever there remain;
Memories of joy succeeding pain;
Though night must come, the hour go by,
The days move swiftly on, not I..."
Do you play live?
We used to. Peter still plays live in Dallas.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Bad news first: Pop songs on radio have gotten worse. The industry is more consolidated and inpenetrable for the artist who is not screwing someone already on the inside. Now the good news: A lot fewer people by CD's by establishment artists, because there is so much good music on the net. The Pop music industry is a dinosaur and will soon die. Net musicians will survive and evolve.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't think so. Depends on the contract.
Your influences?
