Avast ye beat lovers, and welcome to the good ship The Ill Eagle. Weigh in yer anchors and set sail for the isle of experimental wonk tronica!

We be a swarthy experimental rave consortium from London town and its environs. Amongst our crew are counted ...
Minaximal, Dj CJD, Booty boy, Carlos K, The HB and Gary Rage, a more techno crazed bunch of buccanneers ye couldn't ask for.
Why this name?
I'm a pirate - my name is Jake. No really.
And Ill Eagle Sounds ... don't ask !?
Do you play live?
Live, dead, off my nut, whatever. Squats and feilds mostly, (did do a slot at a sik and twisted night in hackneys dungeons once.) we hust come bak off a european teknival tour.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes everything - hopefully it'll take the wind out of the sails of companies stealing music from the people and selling it back to them. Music for the people n' all that.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I've got my own label. Ain't no one gonna sign my sh*** any road .
Your influences?
Very wide and varied - i love the spectrum of music avaidable.
Techno and rave music are very broad and open musical areas and i like to think we r trying to push them out.
Expect nothing except sonic assult!
Favorite spot?
London Town, no doubt.
Equipment used:
I'm working on a 309 Quasimidi rave - o - lution,
some turntables and a mixer with dodgy channels, a fender phaser pedal i bought 4 a fiver, a £10 mic, a m8's boss dr rythmn 660 which i'm scared to get into incase he wants it bak, some nice little monitors eltax 3's or sommint powered by a demo model amp (Sansui) that cracks really unnervingly. Oh and my 1.2 gig 256 ddr AMD computer with a baby sequencer called making waves version 5 beta with midi and vst support, a bit of sound forging and even less q bas and fruity loops (voice synth)+ i would be using reason but i've lost the disk for it, bastard!

Oh and we play out on 1.2 k. 800w of 15" atc folded bass, 300 mid (probably Peaveys) and 100 top RCF bullets. A bit of scaffold, some projections and its 'avin it. Got sum new amps in too but speakers still need to be found.
