DECONTROL WAS ONE OF THE FIRST BANDS TO PIONEER THE ORIGINAL VIBRANT PHILLY PUNK SCENE BACK IN THE EARLY EIGHTIES. THEY BROKE UP NOW AND THEN, BUT THEY ONLY GOT HARDER, ANGRIER, AND TIGHTER AS TIME WENT ON, AND ARE STILL GRINDING AGAINST THE GRAIN, AND TEACHING THE KIDDIES WHAT REAL PUNK ROCK WAS AND IS.
