Why this name?
Well, it's pretty simple. My name is Brad, and I'm a pastor. So I go by Pastor Brad all the time.. not just as an artist.
Do you play live?
Yes--Mainly in central PA--but I'll go anywhere there are means and opportunity to play! I love it!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Dude, it's just blown the doors wide open! It's given artists, like myself, a platform to be able to share our music with the world!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure... if it was the "right" deal... I.e. If I really felt like the company understood and supported what I'm all about.
Band History:
www.guitarjams.net launched in April of 2004 with the dual releas of the first two PASTOR BRAD CDs: "Get Real" and "Rock You Up". Since that day the site has continued to grow and attract fans of classic, 80s style, Christian Metal from all over the world!

Your influences?
As a teenager, I cut my guitar-playing teeth listening to guys like Angus Young (AC/DC), Randy Rhoads (Ozzy), Ace Frehley (Kiss) and Dave Murray and Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden)... and lots of other killer players of that time. And since then... I'd have to say that Bands like Stryper, Whitecross, Barren Cross and Bloodgood have had a BIG impact on me as well!
Favorite spot?
Hmmmmm... that's a tough one. I enjoy visiting New York... been to LA... that was pretty cool, but I guess I have to say that I'm a Hoosier at heart. I grew up in centeral Indiana... 40 miles N/E of Indy... I'm just Basketball lovin, corn-field, Indy racing, Notre Dame football kind of guy.
Equipment used:
I've owned a lot of guitars over the years, but right now I play a 73 Fender Tele deluxe, and a nice, mid 90's Fender Acoustic. For an amp--I've used a Fender Princeton Chorus for about the last 15 years.
For Producing My CDs--
I use Cakewalk's Guitar Tracks 2, Izotope's Ozone, Antares' "TUBE", TC Native Essential's plug-in pack, Coyote Compressor/Expander plug-in, and Ev and Shure mics.
