Jens Hausmann: piano influenced grooving fingerstyle guitar - Acoustic Guitarist & Singer/Songwriter with a bluesy, jazzy, funky soul

J.H. was raised in Morehead City, North Carolina until he went to school in Germany. He took up the guitar some twenty years ago, completely self-taught, later he studied music & english.
For about 25 years he has been a working musician live, in the studio and giving guitar-lessons. Over the years he had the chance to have his share in all kinds of music, any style, from working solo, in bands, big bands and even orchestras. Collecting lots of expierience with hundreds of gigs and sessions he had the chance to develop his own style and unique kind of piano influenced fingerstyle guitar, but still his main roots would be blues, jazz & folk with a funky soul. Currently he is working solo and in duos on guitar, vocals, bass and mandolin.

Besides playing and teaching he writes gear reviews and workshops for the German Magazine Akustik Gitarre.
