I don't have a band, I'm a DJ and just want to post some of my mixes for others to listen to. I'm learning how to make different mixes.
Why this name?
Just came up with it one day. I liked those retro jerseys that were real popular so I said DJ Retro
Do you play live?
Haven't played live yet. Just beginning.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I don't think it does any harm, if someone shares an mp3 it must be good. It's good for underground artists to get there music spread around easier.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I ever got good enough.
Your influences?
Jay-Z, Wu-Tang, Nas, A Tribe Called Qwest, Kanye West, Black Pegasus any hip hop really. Dj's in general, Dj Premier, Dj Clue, Kay Slay.
