'SwiTch' are an indie rock band based in the south of Herefordshire, and with a following that became international under their old name Chill2Thrill.
They started out with the original Chill 2 Thrill line up of Jenny Sweeney (vocals/bass), Simon Smith (vocals/guitar) and Joe Pritchard (drums). Following the departures of Joe and Jenny, Russell Downes took over on bass and Sam Wheale came in on drums.
Early last summer Russell's life took a turn in a different direction and he left for Australia. We all wish him well. His replacement Steve came into the band and fitted so well it was almost like he had always been there.
The current line up is now very active again and gigging at every opportunity.

Do you play live?
This band is constantly gigging and much in demand all over the UK.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well it's another tool at the disposal of musicians, but not a substitute for live gigging to learn the performing side of the business.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Guess so, but it would have to be right. Wouldn't do it just for the sake of being able to say we're on........label.
Band History:
Gigged constantly under old name, and recorded and released the tracks here under that name too. Made BBC TV debut in Cardiff, performing the single here 'live.' Music has been changing over the past years and with this came the call for a name change (much to JP's chagrin while promoting old name).
