I'm a keyboardist from the Chicago area. Because of the years, there are many, many influences I pull from, everyone from Three Dog Night to Chrystal Method, but my roots are strong in guitar/keyboard based rock and blue/rock. This sites is an avenue for personal/solo material and collaborations, many styles will be exhibited as the site matures, and more music is posted.
William
Why this name?
Ah !! lets see now....because my name is William ??
Do you play live?
I gave that stuff up long time ago.
but it would be fun to do again.
I do play at church every Sunday.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows an avenue for all us garage/basement bands to expose and promote our work to an international audience.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In a New York Minute ! Just one hit and I could retire.
Band History:
Between my Freshman and Sophmore college years, I thought it would be fun to play music / play rock stars, especially since I could play piano a little. Well, I never do anything small, and within a year (1974-1975) or so, there I was, in a big loud R/R band. By the early eighties, I decided that it was over, time for carrers, family, and now it's my hobby.
Your influences?
Late 60's, early seventies Rock/Pop bands, Prog. rock bands, jazz artists, bands that featured guitars, keys, and esp. the Hammond organ.
Favorite spot?
Typically, wherever I am. I love Chicago (sweet home), Nashville, and Carrebean.
