The Blues is alive in Central Ontario, and BAD POETRY performs the blues with feeling. Whether its the slow Delta style, or the rockin' Chicago blues, BAD POETRY delivers with soul.
Why this name?
Got the idea from the title of a book of really bad poetry. Tongue in cheek of course.
Do you play live?
To date, we've played all over Ontario, Canada, and we never miss an opportunity to perform live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows lesser known bands to offer their unique brand of music to the general public.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if they twisted my arm :-)
Band History:
We started out as a house band comprised of pub patrons.
Your influences?
All classic blues artists.
Favorite spot?
We play all over Ontario, but we love coming back to our home town, Campbellford, Ontario
Equipment used:
We enjoy performing electric and most of the time we do, but from time to time we will do an acoustic night if requested.
