Aliensporebomb
This is it! The track that started it all. Tons of guitar harmony (all meticulously overdubbed) and a churning rhythm section with high ambience in the synth department.

Diode
Four note bass part, five note corresponding keyboard lines with lead guitar and alternating 4/4 and half time drumming on top with some beat displacement.

Deep Blue Light
The complex, almost psychedelic instrumental that is the high point of the recording (imho anyway).

Skywards
Prog-rock with a techno feel. Soaring lead guitar and thick synth padding support the remainder.
Show all (129)
A one man, all instrumental effort focusing on the use of ambience, soundscapes, and dream-like interlude in rock, fusion, electronic, dance, and progressive rock structures. Taking the lessons learned in the instrumental complexity of progressive jazz-rock fusion, welding it to the production sophistication of techno/trance and ambient music and adding just the right ingredients of guitars, synthesizers and drums to make it interesting to fans of all of the above. Not being afraid of being sophisticated or hypnotic for its own sake.

New domain is http://www.aliensporebomb.com/ in case you were wondering. Yes, this is long overdue. Current music projects available there. New rock based ASB project available later this year.
Some new sounds of mine at a new project page: http://aliensporebomb.bandcamp.com/ which is an ambient looping guitar project. I've done a few gigs in the Minneapolis area using the Ionosphere Casting Shadows project name.
Zogg was played with a Yamaha CS1X synthesizer controlling a number of softsynths - I believe the lead was a Korg Wavestation, the electric piano sound was a PPG Wave and the polysynth sound that travels along with the PPG piano was Steinberg D'Cota. Drum loop was canned if you couldn't tell but I actually played the bass part live even though it is rather static. Lead guitar was a Jackson Soloist thru a Mesa Boogie studio preamp with a Lexicon Vortex processor direct into the board.
I like "Zogg". What keyboards did you use on that? You should check out my tunes also: I got played on the radio BBC a few months ago. Cheers!
Hi Todd...
kool sounds you create!
any chance of getting a complete playlist of which song is in what order on each album? i've downloaded just about all your stuff i can find and would like to organize them in the fashion that they are/would be on the original album.
Thx...
