Erik and Jon got together in August as old friends looking to do a little side project. Things have certainly changed.
Why this name?
Jon's idea. Not sure why exactly.
Do you play live?
We're getting there. Hope every show can be a special moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Allows us much easier ways to promote and get our music heard!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not unless we still retained complete control over our sound.
Band History:
Formed as a musical project between Jonathan and Erik using a computer, some software, a mixer, and a microphone in early August 2006. It started as a side project, but isn't that how a lot of things start? We made 3 or 4 demos before we actually began to integrate the playing of live instruments. It's a gray area. After we completed 5 demos, Vinny showed up wanting to play some drum set, and we said, "Kid dude, right on, bro!" Those might not have been the exact words, but that's where we stand now. We've released 2 songs since he's joined, but you still haven't really heard him play. We're getting to that. Turns out he was MIA for a while so we had to program the "What's To Come" drum track in his absence. And there's no acoustic drums on the demo version of the track from the upcoming, and hopefully anticipated, EP. That's just how the song worked out, shucks. Keep in touch, and expect some gifts from the Arm The Citizen camp in the not so distant future. Also, excuse any typos or words that don't seem to make any sense. I'm terrible with staying focused while typing, but I bet you are too. Exciting biography, I know. Surely, you're intrigued; I can tell. I'll give you more information for some favors.
