The Way Out The Way Out
Better keep your shoes on - this song rocks your socks off. It's about our 2nd favorite subject: outer space. Our 1st favorite subject? Yep: animals.

Planimal Planimal
We couldn't have yet another song about an animal, so we combined it with a plant.

A Bird you Can't Love A Bird you Can't Love
No idea where this idea came from. Pretty catchy tune though eh?

It's not my Fault your Predatory Cat Peed... It's not my Fault your Predatory Cat Peed...
So why don't you tell me the difference between a puma and a panther? Nobody knows. Don't lie. Neither do you.

Band/artist history
The spring after Complete Domination was released, we released a second song: "Tad Ghostal" which was a tribute to Space Ghost of the TV shows Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet. The style was similar to "Complete Domination": sound clips of Space Ghost talking pasted onto a drumbeat to make Space Ghost say funny things.
The public demanded more and we responded with a number of crude and crass songs full of potty humor that were sure to quench the public's thirst just as "Complete Domination" had. We slowly evolved from our original style and began inserting our own vocals and eventually instruments. Mike brushed up on his piano skills, John relearned the guitar and Ben decided to learn how to play the guitar. The songs from this period are known as the "Illegitimate Years". Then in Spring of 2001, after we had released another hit: "Ballad of Ray the Retard...ed Baby", Mary, Noah's girlfriend, called Noah. Mike and Ben thought this was a good subject for a song so they proceeded to write "Mary's Song" in about the time of the phone call. Mary's Song ended the Illegitimate Years and launched the Armageddon Action Figures into a new era of musical success and innovation. This song was the first to have all parts be original to the AAFigures. We also decided to clean up our act and would no longer rely on foul language to attract fans.
After the Summer of 2001, the Poncho Song was written and initiated a buttload of songs to be written. This in turn prompted the making of the first Armageddon Action Figures CD: Poop Rock.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yeah we played this really sweet show in our basement when we released the Poop Rock CD. It was really sweet.
Your musical influences
Hmm well we all have some common ground in the Indie realm but we also have different musical tastes.
Ben brings in his Punk/Power Pop tastes like the Impossibles and Ozma.
Mike brings the solid rock of Pearl Jam and Weezer.
and John Indie rocks it up with bands like Kleenex Girl Wonder and Modest Mouse.
Some other big influences are the Breeders, Imperial Teen, Grandaddy, Built to Spill, Pavement, and the Promise Ring.
We end up blending into some sort of Pop/Rock/Indie Garage Humor. We like to call it Poop Rock.
