Hello and welcome,
I, for the purposes of having a place where people will find me, call myself AriesDJ. I try to make music that sounds good and often suceed, however where i fail is making that music into a full song. It usually ends up as a 30 second snippet that i listen to over and over again but never finish, it's a shame, some of it isn't too bad.

Why this name?
Well I was born March 31st, so I think you can figure out the rest.
Do you play live?
I did play live a few times but i'm more of the producer than the performer. I'd do it again any time just not too many opportunities.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Unfortunately for me, Soundclick isn't a fair website; I could release the best song out there and it will stay at the bottom if I don't get swarms of people to listen to it. Then again since when is life fair
?
?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes and everyone should agree.
Band History:
I didn't allways like music, I started out in a grade eight music class which turned me off completely to any idea of me playing music. However, by lack of a better choice, i took a grade nine keyboarding class which completely changed my outlook and since then i have been trying, with much of the effort wasted, to make some decent music that I could one day say i'm honestly proud of. Of course everyone starts out composing something that they would rather die then have played on the radio, and with a perfectionist atitude you get through this stage very slowly because you spend far too much time trying to perfect garbage. Start with good quality samples for drums and work up from there. As of now, I use FL Studio, although I have tried to switch many times as i kept reading how it's a bad program blah blah and so forth. I spent about three days with Reason (demo) and nearly threw up, so i'll stick with FL untill i learn Sonar or Cubase.
Your influences?
Coldplay, Poets of the fall, Dirty Vegas, Sash, E-Type, Tbo&Vega, The Offspring...
Favorite spot?
That would probably be Dominican Republic.
