The curtain has fallen! Arcassius was formed i the summer of 2004 as a jocular power metal project by Chris and Erling. Erling and Chris has firm backgrunds in more extreme genres, like black and death metal, harcore and progressive. After two full length demos and a lot of hard work, they realized the potential in their collaboration, and decided to turn Arcassius into a full time, professional band. Arcassius, the creative outlet for a grander, more epic sound for both musicians, seek to blur the boundaries between metal, classical and stage art. Heavily inspired by a wide array of metal bands, composers, films and musicals, Arcassius represents the search for the ultimate storytelling expression. Arcassius now seeks to convey a highly sophisticated and unique form of art to a wider audience. With their upcoming two-part epic they whish to establish the band as a vital driving force in modern metal. Arcassius has only begun their voyage...
