I'm a pianist/keyboardist who works primarily in the Northwest Indiana / Chicago market.
I've worked as a keyboardist, writer and collaborator since the early 1980's; all kinds of situations- live and studio. Have worked in/been based out of Chicago, Nashville, and northern Colorado. Have done a fair amount of roadwork/touring over the past 15 years.
I currently play keys for a variety of acts in the Midwest.
Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby, Bill Payne, Tom Howard, Elton John, Ben Folds and Matt Rollings are fellow keyboardists for whom I have a great deal of respect, and from whom I have learned much. Overall artistic influences are too varied and numerous to list in entirety; but a few that come to mind are: The Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Todd Rundgren, Little Feat, Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, Carol King, Karla Bonoff, The Eagles...
All kinds of appliances intended to recreate acoustic piano, tonewheel organ, etc...Plus a modest assortment of synths - both hardware and software based.
