Honest, healing…anointed. These are the words used to describe the music and message of lead worshipper and songwriter Alison Stevens. For the past 15 years, Alison has led worship at churches, retreats and conventions, including the Tennessee Baptist WMU Annual Convention and Spirit West Coast with Bob Kilpatrick. Watch for Alison’s upcoming release, Intimate…Songs of Worship.
Do you play live?
It's been my privilege to share the stage and studio with many incredibly gifted musicians: Drew Cline, Helen Baylor, Bob Kilpatrick, Debi Selby, Jason Eskridge, Missy Hale, Philip Calder, Amy Courts, Brad Reynolds, Travis Meadows, Beth Champion-Mason, Brant Christopher...Currently, I support world music artistMary-Kathryn on keys and vocals, join in the occasional singer/songwriter night around town, and continue to lead worship at various events. I attend Ecclesia in Franklin, TN and occasionally lead worship in the morning services.
Favorite spot?
Chicago. Just love the windy city. The Cliffhouse Restaurant Lounge in San Francisco...it has a full wall of windows overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Wonderful place to curl up on the comfy window seat and journal during the day when it's slow.
