Aleasthete is an improvisational duet that rose from the ashes of Zenasthmatic.
What differentiates the new group from the old is a change in instrumentation and method as well as the addition of an open third member slot. With the duo functioning as the group's core, the music is kept fresh and intersting by a set of rotating collaborators.

Why this name?
It is a combination of the words Aleatoric and Aesthetic. Since the music derives from chance and is purely improvisational, we thought it a fitting name.
Band History:
Founded by Jason Mullinax and Jason Tremblay in the latter 1990's, the duo created glitchy, improvisational electronica until it disbanded in 2001. In 2006, the duo reformed under a different name and is currently preparing concepts for live perfomance.
