We're After Letting Go, a melodic hardcore band located in Greensboro, NC. We play a hard hitting music powered by intense guitar harmonies, intricate basslines, powerful drums, gut wrenching emotional screams, and melodic vocals. We have played all over North Carolina and are currently booking our first tour.Band/artist history
After Letting Go is: Chris Smith-Guitar, Allen Kent-Lead Vocals, Kevin Saxton-Guitar, Greg Ewan-Bass, Backup Vocals, Ben Ronko-Drums.
We started out in early 2003 and have come a long way in a small amount of time. It basically started out with Kevin(guitar), Allen(vocals), and Chris(guitar), and our good friend Josh on drums. I was in a punk/ska band at the time and was friends with Kevin. He said they needed a bassist and I said I would come play with them. I didn't know what to expect because none of them had really been in any big bands before but I was immediately blown away by the intense creativity and emotion they put into their music. Pretty soon we started playing shows. We only had about 3 songs at the time. Despite this we still got great crowd response. Soon Josh left the band because of work and he hooked us up with his friend Ben who completed our lineup. We started recording and put out our 4 song demo. Since then we've played with some pretty big names such as After the Fall from texas, Short Round (Asian Man Records) from cali., and Another Day Ruined from jersey. We're now signed to Undifinable and are busy recording our full length. We've gotten nothing but great crowd response and have really been blown away by the degree to which many people feel our music.

I guess you could compare us to A Static Lullaby or Finch or maybe Calico System.What equipment do you use?
Live we've got 2 guitarists, a bassist/back up singer, a drummer, and a lead vocalist. Though in the studio we all pretty much contribute to everything(i.e. back up vocals, strings, keyboards, etc.)
