Jaya Prime entered the music community as a remixer in the year 2000. Following on this, he turned to mixing full sets. Six full albums and a subskription-based mix were produced over the course of the next six years. Once signed to Trochlear Recordings, Jaya began composing original tracks. His first album with Trochlear, "IO Limiters", was released in January, 2006. "IO Limiters" was filled with the breakbeat, trip-hop sound that has become attached to the name "San Jaya Prime".
