It opens the doors for people all over to interact with others they never would have known. It is a great thing technology did for the world's culture. The internet shut down alot of album sellin' in the stores; but, who cares? What you loose in the store, you gain in advertisement, fanbase, networking and a whole leap a other things you a do.
