I'm Mostel.....Im from Monterey MidCal, better known as "The Rey" for short. Im a producer, an artist, and Im also one of the 3 members of the Salinas-based crew Kryme Wave.
As a solo artist I've made my first break-in this year with the release of my official solo debut, "MENACE TO SOBRIETY."
As a producer I've stayed busy not only lacing up tracks for my own album, but for my group's as well, not to mention contributing work for between 3 and 5 additional projects that belong to my associates.
And as a group member I've watched as all of the roadblocks that have held up the release of our album "BREAD RELATED" slowly crumble away by themselves, leaving us to complete what we set out to accomplish when we first started working together back in 02. Only this time our album now features guest appearances from Don Cisco, Yukmouth of The Luniz, The Game, and more.Have you performed in front of an audience?I do not get to go onstage nearly as much as I should, but that will change in time.
My biggest concert appearance so far has been when me and Kryme Wave opened up for the N.B. Ridaz at the Salinas Valley Fair, April 2003.
