Why this name?
Oh, my parents chose that name---I just kept it.
Do you play live?
I used to play solo and in bands in the Minneapolis area, back in the heyday of The Minneapolis Sound, but these days I just write and record at home.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It puts the smart artist in the driver's seat, doesn't it?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Oh, sure, I might consider that...but only if they offer me more money than I make at the Pizzeria...
Your influences?
The Beatles are the best influence for me--they got me fascinated from childhood, and they set the standard for writing something different every time.
Favorite spot?
Probably the G.
