Lulina is a talenting singer songwriter living in Sau Paulo, Brazil. As an gesture of international cooperation, born out of friendship, Lulina and Matt Love of Olympia WA wrote this song, sharing lyrics and sound files by e-mail. Lulina provides the vocals and guitar, in a wonderful arrangement by an extremely talented composer in Wenatchee, WA, Nigel Simmons
Why this name?
You'll have to ask Lulina how she got that nickname.
Do you play live?
Lulina frequently gigged with her band The Pnins in her hometown of Recife. She has just started performing in Sao Paulo. Matt looks forward to resuming playing before audiences in the south sound region.

Lulina is partial to Belle and Sebastian, The Velvet Underground, and Cat Power.
Matt wishes he was worthy to tie the shoelaces of Andy Partridge or Robert Fripp (though his influences don't really show in his songs).

Favorite spot?
Matt says either the Aran islands off the coast of Ireland or Anderson Island in Puget Sound. You will have to ask Lulina or Nigel what their answers would be.
Equipment used:
Lulina recorded her voice and guitar at a friend's house, into a microphone plugged into a friend's computer. Nigel's dad Mark did an amazing job cleaning up the somewhat noisy sound file. Matt is just starting to learn how to record using his computer. Nigel is the authority on his system.
