Why this name?
LIKRISH is a "one of a kind flavor" The music is unique in a sense that it's like nothing else out there.
Do you play live?
Yes. I haven't been out as much as I would have liked to, but right now I have been playing some solo gigs at open-mic nights. I'm set to play KU Idol in March. Back in 2004, I was in a duet called "Taking Turns in Domination" -- a cover band, but it was my ex: Jake Labe and I and we did OLD Evanescence tracks and Opeth stuff. It was a lot of fun.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that mp3's are slowly becoming the wave of the future...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but it would have to be edited continuously for fine lines and scams. I never sign anything without a lawyer in the industry.
Band History:
LIKRISH used to be KarYoke back in 2004. The recent name change was due to no one being able to PRONOUNCE the word!!!
I started writing when I was 4 years old and the rest is history.

Your influences?
Tori Amos and Poe are the HUGE ones. Catherine Wheel is another, NIN, Carfax Abbey, Tapping the Vein, Collide and Kidneythieves.
Favorite spot?
St. Louis, Missouri
Equipment used:
I play a Schecter Omen 6 Guitar, but the other instruments and equipment vary.
