Kon-Tempt however has his birth name Chris Walker firmly etched into the writing credits of every piece of material past, present and future for the Kon-Tempt Brand. As well as these accolades, he has earned acclaim for ghost writing full tracks for R&B singers, lyrical rap verses for other rap artists and even co-writing rock songs for up and coming Indie bands. Its also often said that the average underground artist that possesses raw microphone skills, Wordsmith's That can freestyle and/or write with the lyrical dexterity that eludes most mainstream artists and poets combined, tend do so whilst compromising the ability to engineer a decent quality piece of recorded audio. and in most part fail in writing and producing a apt song that can reach a further demographic appealing to anyone other than their local following. With little over three years in the industry, this is just one illustration that justifies why hes one of the very few artists in the UK thats known to be active performing his rhythmically complex poetic rhymes at events alongside UK Hip-hop Heavyweight Artists such as Skinnyman & Klashnekoff And Britians Top DJs Alike, But at the same time, also booked in the very same month, for a warm up performance at commercial urban music events, for U.S Mainstream Superstars such as 50 cents/G-Units DJ, DJ WHOO KID. In which he was invited back onstage to personally hype the crowd for G-Units Whoo Kid himself! however, this astonishing accomplishment was overshadowed when he was invited to be part of the entertainment for the Anger Management Tour @ Murrayfield Stadium, UK, which was scheduled to feature Hip-Hops Giants Eminem & 50 Cent amongst many others. Despondently the European tour was called off prematurely and the event didnt materialize. But considering Kon-Tempt hadnt even released a official record let alone his softmore album, the booking was no mean feat itself and clearly a taste of things to come. Yet despite not releasing anything officially, Kon-Tempt has also seen himself garner National radio play, magazine reviews and fully commissioned European tours to Paris, France, and Zurich, Switzerland. Never one to be complacent. On the recording artist side of the repertoire, Kon-Tempt enters 2006 with near to a hundred plus, fully written projects which will begin to be unconfined into the public domain as the year progresses. But this is not where the personal Kon-Tempt inventory and production line stops... PART 2 - "The Remix Demon" The exciting and innovative remixes of "Kon-Tempt" are fast becoming world renown, from a unparalleled internet buzz on just about every related forum and file sharing network to full endorsements by such Hip-Hop remix heavy weights as "Cypress Hill" Legend "DJ Muggs" and on a more club influenced department. Part 3 - "The Producer" Due to Kon-Tempt being involved in previous mixtapes that were strategically themed on Overdubbing world renowned instrumentals, it despondently became a common misconception that Kon-Tempt did not produce any of the music in which he vocalised. In stark contrast. Earlier Songs like "Youre My Baby and Just the 2 of us are two notable examples of some of the earlier production efforts that many did not realise was Kon-Tempts work.
