I've always felt that the music of Intricate Unit was very deep and detailed, but pure at the same time, and that it comes from a person who shows some of the same characteristics.
The origin of "Unit" derives from the first three letters of the word: Uni. Being one composer of the music, it made sense and gave clousure to the full name once added.

Yes. Of course with clauses well more in favor of the artist. All a major label could do is mass promotion of IU. I don't see anything wrong with increasing the exposure of Intricate Unit to many more people than I can ever do myself. I also don't plan on compromising who I am in the process.

I started out in the year 1998 with just 2 tape decks, my guitar and a piece of sh*** [only sounds good through massive distortion] Casio keyboard, which I bought from my sister for $10.00. I did what ever I could with whatever I could get my hands on. To this day, that remains the same.
I decided to do everything solo because that way all the conflicts between two opposing sides is easily resolved. That’s because there are none. Based on that, I figured my music would be in its purist form directly from my own heart and soul, at least what's left of them.
I do not wish for the average life style to be fit upon me nor do I want to be an inferior proletariat who feeds off of even weaker minded people. I do not believe in that . I don’t think that I am better than anybody else and I give myself no such credit.
