I'm a solo country artist and songwriter. Love writing and recording country songs which are slightly on the traditional side of country with hints of the pop rock influences. Currently, I am working on a whole new batch (more than 20 songs) and hope to have 2 more CDs out by next year.

My CDs are available at cdbaby and my songs are available for download at iTunes.

I love hearing from you, so drop me a line and let me know what you think of my songs. I'll write you back.
Why this name?
It's a shorter version of my last name which people have a tough time mispronouncing.
Do you play live?
Opened for country music festival, played in bars, put on shows at nursing homes, performed in coffeehouses. Loved it all. It's a lot of fun.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I have been blessed with meeting hundreds of the finest artists in the world via the internet. There is a lot of talent out here. What a perfect place to showcase and to listen. Would never have been able to travel the world over to meet a tenth of them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure would. It's a long road, but well worth it in just getting there. And if it doesn't happen, I will still have a lot of fun.
Band History:
I had seven songs hit number one in country on mp3.com and two songs hit number two. Already had seven songs at number one in country on soundclick and a bunch at number two. Also hit number one in Australia on mp3.com.au in country, and I am flattered. My songs have played on more than 60 radio stations worldwide.

I have also received some wonderful reviews from the International Country Music Association. They gave me four stars for both of my first CDs. Rambles on-line Magazine also gave me some great writeups. A number of sites picked me as artist of the month and for all of this I am grateful.
Your influences?
I love country artists like Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Clint Black, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Hank Williams, Garth Brooks, George Jones, Leroy van Dyke, and Conway Twitty. What's not to love?
Favorite spot?
Central NY state and Nashville, TN, but I also enjoyed Colorado, Alabama, Texas, New Jersey, Minnesota, and California. Haven't lived in the other places yet.
Equipment used:
Guild F45CE with LR Baggs Duet II, old tenor banjo. And a Yamaha that my daughter now plays.
Anything else...?
"My goal is to make music that will touch your heart or make you think twice. I love to get up-close and personal when I write and sing. If I get too close to feelings that you have, then I am doing what I had only hoped. If one of my songs makes you laugh or cry or makes you jump up to dance, then it was worth all the long nights." Bob Grez

Bob Grez is presently in the studio recording his third CD with full up production. His country sizzles. Look for it next year!!!
